Is it possible to get a car with I+H+E and a turbo to pass emissions? I don't think it has catalytic converters either. IF so where in SO CAL can i have it tested.

With no catalytic converter and a turbo, you have no chance of passing emissions. It would probably be difficult to pass even with a cat. You would need to have the car tuned well just to pass.

Don't they do a visual inspection in CA too? There are no CARB- legal turbo kits yet for the Prelude AFAIK...

either you will need to find a friend to pass you for a few hundred (heard of places in the past but dont know any in so cali) or you will need to change your set up...

I also dont know of a carb legal turbo set up in cali...

as to the cats... there is no way you will pass that test without one if you have the turbo on...

I passed with about 50% of the room with a random tech cat, rs*r exhaust, dc headers, iceman intake... add in that turbo and no chance just about...

a hint is to run methanol right before you go to the test station... it burns a lot cleaner than does gas... but it is not great for your engine...

but with that turbo set up and no cats you wont be passing unless you can find a smog station on the DL...
