Do you guys have the same problem? I am having lots of sqeeking, sounds of plastic parts slightly rubbing against each other to make enough noise, it seems as though it's mostly coming from the center console area.
I know this comes with the fact that the car is old, all the new cars are really quiet inside. I was wondering if you guys have done anything to quiet the inside?
mine never made noise until i took out nearly all the screws, now it squeeks a bit but thats the only reason. the screws are still sitting in various locations around the garage and such. id say try to go around the entire car with a phillips head driver and make sure all the screws are tight. if that doesnt help or only helps for a little while, maybe put some locktite on the screws. i guess you could go as far as replacing all teh plastic clips holding in everything else. that would get really expensive really quick tho.

lucky... right now.. nothing in the car really makes any noise.. only time i have a little vibration when the sunroof is open... i'm sure its just a loose screw but when the sunroof is closed... i don't have any noises. and if i did... turn the stereo up louder
I took my sub out and now the plastic back there squeeks from time to time...but if I hit it it stops for a while, I just need to put it back correctly.

my drivers side window, the sunroof, the crossover for my components in my dash (only the one behind the driver's side tweeter... the passenger side one doesnt rattle!), something in my suspension always rattles, i get a weird rattle at idle sometimes, the rear trunk torsion bars rub against the rear speakers, driver's side door rattles when you close it.... i think i covered it all...
i bought this soundproofing mat that is about 1/8" or little bit thinner...it's made for underneath hardwood flooring...
i took out my whole center console...and applied that **** everywhere that plastic showed...it's heavier now, but it doesn't squeek at all...i also put little pieces around where the plastic contacts the metal..where you screw it in...to keep it in place
the stuff works really well, i've actually put that **** under my carpet too, with some 8mm foam carpet underlay
the foam i only put basically in the same pattern where my floor mats go...but in the back it goes all the way under the front seats too...
i removed my rear upper and lower plastic panels and put that **** everywhere that i saw plastic too...
it's made a big difference with cabin noise...feels alot more solid...
it's alot of work to take everything apart...but well worth it...
works well on the doors too cause it's thin and you can mold it around bumps
used gel contact cement to make it stick...works great!

oh well.
Where? Is it the section where the shift-boot section of the center console meets the cup-holder section? If so, is the shift side of the console warping up in an arch? If so, give this bulletin a try:

I just got those two clips called for in the bulletin, you have to modify them with a bench grinder (I'm guessing either hours of sanding or a strong pair of cutco scissors/wire cutters will work just as well) by trimming off one end of the clip lip, then install them in section of the console where it meets up with the other half. They're not expensive by any means, I think they go for like 1 buck for both, or less, but I got them with discount, so I couldn't tell you actual price, but hey, they can't be over 2 bucks for both.
dunno dude, haven't gotten to mine yet, I would imagine the bulletin would've called for that instead of replacing those clips if it were possible, keeping in mind the bulletin was in effect when the affected vehicles were still under warranty, rendering the repair cost-free. If you get a chance to check before I go ahead and do the bulletin, look at those clips already in there and check out the pictures of the ones on the bulletin, compare them, and let us know. Otherwise, those clips are less than a buck.
