a/c lines

Hey guys, I just bought a/c lines because it got so hot i couldn't bear it anymore, but I have a question. The discharge line that comes from the drier, and the low pressure line hooks to the piece of metal (expansion valve??) by the firewall, Is there a separate connector I need? I can't get these two to hook up. I'll post a pic of what I'm talking about if no one knows...thanks.

someone, anyone? Can anyone send me a picture of their engine bay specifically on the left side, where the discharge line (the long skinny one on the left side by the battery) goes to the connector near the firewall, under the intake?

what year is your car and what year car donated the replacement parts. you may have different parts from different systems that dont match up?

can you post pics of the install progress so we can see whats not lining up?

The car is a 94 with h22a I believe the donor car was a 96 with a f22. I looked at all the diagrams on estore.honda.com, and they all are the same, for all models on the 96 and the 94. It's odd though, the discharge line that usually has the glass thing in it isn't there, and it was previously, at any rate, I'll take a pic, and get it up there.

i think i remember the lines being different between my 92 and 96, i would think the 94 and 96 should be the same. but sounds like something is different with your two parts, i dont ever remember seeing any sort of adapter on either one of my preludes.

I can't get my camera working..which sucks. I think the evaporator is different. I guess I either have to buy a new evaporator or a new discharge line and high pressure line. Why is working on a/c always a headache?
