C/F fog trim pieces.

As many of you know, Honda has stopped making OEM foglights and their components for us. I know several people here are missing the trim pieces only (such as myself) Is there interest in C/F trim pieces if we could have them custom fabricated? This goes for people in search of the trim pieces, and people who already have the factory pieces.

I'm definitely in! I am searching for trim peices right now. I think I just bought the last one at a Honda dealership in the country and now can't find the other one.

I have both, but my passenger side one is used and slightly messed up, and my drivers side is brand new. I would love to get a matching CF set.

Why do you want them in carbon fiber? I mean I could do it, but it would be just as easy to make fiberglass in the smae mold...I mean I don't care either way but like if you want to pay more that's fine with me We have the pieces, so they could be molded. I plan on taking a whole bunch of things to get molded in a week or so.

Joel gets car back = Joel makes cool parts

Block isn't back from the machine shop yet...maybe a few days.

I'm just jonesing for the CF sunroof and the possibility of that damn rusting rear window trim piece. And that Spoon lip... what a nice piece of work, I'm gonna have to rob a bank to get all this stuff you keep cranking out Joel!

I personally don't really care what they're made from, however, several people have expressed interest in C/F pieces. Do you have any idea how much it'd cost to produce them?

well... one reason I would want CF over fiberglass is that the OEM trim pieces have a pattern on the back that shows through the cover to give it a sort of CF look to it. If it were made out of fiberglass, you would loose the opacity of the Honda plastic, and end up with a flat black trim piece. With the CF, you get the pattern and the fact it looks sweet.

Any idea how much they'd cost to produce? Right now there's 9 people who are interested, but I'm not sure how many people could say with 100% certainty that they would buy them without knowing how much they'd cost. Keep in mind this poll has been up less than 12 hours. I am in for sure though, as long as the price isn't too high.
