A/c

Is there anything we can do to make the A/C colder? Besides charging it with new freon. (filters?, pump?...etc)

If you are r12, no. no one will mess with it and require you to change it to r134.

Well...what if you are already r134a? I got a '93 and it is....would love to have it be colder and a little bit stronger air flow.

Then i would reccomend getting it vacuumed out and recharged, if you have a leak or air gets in the line, then that lessens the effectiveness of the refridgerant.

Yeah, only way to get decent air in my black on black is to blast it and have the re-circ button on. No re-circ, no good!

Naa it does work. Think how a refridgerator works, it doesnt take in new air, it cools exhisting air. My air doesnt work, yet.

how much does the heat from a non-heat-shielded header affect the A/C? The AC lines are right in front of the header so could that be the reason that my AC is cool when I first start the car and then gets warm as I drive the car?

If so, any good solutions?

the do it yourself ac recharge kit is only a temporary fix. If your ac is getting weak, that is because of a leak in the system. To get it repaired correctly and permanently you have to find the leak and replace parts or seals, till there is no leak, then have the refridgant recharged right.
