i'm running RH wheels 18x7.5 w/+42 offset and front camber kit. I rub running 225/35/18 but just slightly on corners and bumps at times. I rub on the inside wheel well. I would suggest 215/35/18 to stay in the stock diameter size or 215/40/18 for more rim protection and avoid rubbing inside. I'm dropped w/Sportlines and raised Koni's. 1.3"drop.

I think the 40 series will rub a ton unless you have rims with a high offset. I'd go with 215/35. Thats what I have and a few other I know and we don't have rubbing problems.

I'v had 225/40/18 on my prelude with a 2 drop and it rubs like crazy when i have people in it with me. Now I have 215/35/18 and it seems to be perfect. Anything over 215/35/18 seems to be to big if your car is lower to about 1.5 - 2 drop.

offset is how far the center of the rim is from the hub. higher positive offset means the wheels are in the fender more.

yeah, I have a set of 18" x 7.5"'s, and I was gonna buy 215/35/18's. I didn't wanna rub, and that's what everyone said I should get

There are a few people with 225/35/18 that don't rub as well. It all depends on your drop and the wheel offset.
