Button Under Dash

tried searching for an answer, but just curious as to what the button on the dashboard lower cover (the plastic panel below the steering wheel) is for?

There's no factory button there. It's either for an alarm or something a previous owner put in.

oh okay thanks. cause i've had 2 95 srv's and they both had it. the first one the previous owner had rigged it into a push start button and my current one has it also, but it doesn't do anything. it's the exact same button, in the exact same place and it looks like it's factory.
