Butt Dyno - anyone gon from M2S4(si) tranny to M2A4 (vtec non lsd)
I did recently when i busted the pin in my m2s4 ...
feels like it accelerates slower .. my car has jdm h22a btw..
i get wicked mileage now tho, but could be because i'm driving slower..

i went to an h23 tranny from an h22 and i feel a big loss in acceleration. We'll see at the track if i make it out if it really makes a difference though....it seems like im in vtec for a long time before i shift lol.

The H23s do have longer gears then the vtecs. You will get better gas milage but it accelerates slower, and I believe shifting from rl will kick you out of the vtec range for a instance.
H23s with the longer gears are better for boost...

I know all the gears and stats and what htey say, however i felt a big loss in acceleration
PS, with my M2S4 (h23 tranny) I was able to stay in vtec.. had to rev quite a bit higher tho..

when i did my swap to the jdm h22 i kept the h23 tranny for a while and then went to the h22 non lsd tranny. i get way better acceleration and i get through the gears faster so imo the h22 tranny is better.
