Burning oil bad!!

ok so here it is my car is burning oil and bad. i dont know much about cars and need some help here from the experts on this fine sight. i dont want to have to buy a new car because im told you can do lots to these engines i have a 95 prelude vtec h22a1 i was thinking rebuild or should i do a total swap out. i want to put a turbo on later on what are some things i can do during a rebuild for a turbo later on. i need some suggestions so lets hear em!

i would say to rebuild the engine thats in the car becuase its really one of the best you could have in there. its going to be a little more work to do a rebuild because of the fiber reinforced cylinder sleeves. youre either going to have to find a shop that can hone the FRM cylinder sleeves or decide to press in conventional sleeves. but thats not your question. to make the engine more turbo-ready you need to swap the pistons themselves for lower compressin ones compatible with the sleeves you decide to use (FRM or conventional) dont go with the lower compression pistons unless youre sure you will be able to get a turbo later on (obviously without the turbo the lower compression will reduce performance) theres also good info in the forced induction section of the site.. and use the search to find threads concering the best way to do the build..hope thats helps. good luck man
