broken engine mount

how long can i go driving with a broken engine mount? if i go too long w/o changing it waht are the major consequewnces for my car.

You could break another mount or damage the tranny at any given time.

You'd better take it easy and get it fixed A.S.A.P.

Its really not a good idea to drive it like that at all.

How does one find out if they have a broken engine mount?? I can look in the engine bay, but I do not know WHERE or WHAT I am looking for?? Will it be blatantly obvious??? Something I have noticed since the wheather got colder, and I added Greddy Header to my arsenal I get slight WHELL HOP when shifting from 1st to second. THis only happens on roads that are not so smooth, but it never happened before... what's up??
