BRAKE warning light

The "BRAKE" waring was on when driving home today. My brakes feel like they work fine. I checked the brake fluid and looked at the lines. What sets off the warning light and what do you think the problem is??

Just make sure that your e-brake is all the way down. I know that is stupid but if it isn't all the way down the light will be on.

I'm sure that isn't your problem so the next thing would be that one of your brake light bulbs has burnt out.

I was talking to him on AIM and his "BRAKE LIGHT" warning light is already on because one of the bulbs in his third brake light isn't working.

He is talking about the other Brake warning light... I'm guessing it's the ebrake warning also...

this has happened to me already twice...so i have experience in seeing it...i also noticed that the brake light bulbs used by our ludes are fairly expensive, well here in vancouver. they run $7 a bulb.

Its not a bulb out!! That is why I put "" around BRAKE. That is all it says on the waring light. I already get the BRAKE LIGHT warning light from a burnt out 3rd brake light light bulb.

Well anyways after I checked the fluid levels it went away. Maybe the wasn't on tight. At least its gone for the moment.

If you brake fluid is low, the light will come on.
