The Brembo blaks are no different than a stock OEM rotor. They are just a plain rotor, they will work just fine for anything that you may need it for. Stay away from Crossdrilled rotors, I have had many problems with all brands of crossdrilled rotors, they will warp, crack, and give absolutley no benefit to your braking needs. If you want a nice looking Cadmium plated rotor, that also performs well, the Powerslot rotors will work great. They are CAD slotted from Brembo blanks and are then cadmium plated shiney silver. They look sharp and perform well. I have seen them priced from 56 bucks all the way up to 110. So just shop around. As for Pads, I am not a big fan of the AEM pads, they are just slightly more aggressive then the OEM pads, and I really didn't notice a difference with them. If you want a GREAT pad that is easy on your rotors, and has low dust, I would certainly recommend the Hawk HPS pads. They are excellent long lasting, street compound pads, that work very well. If you don't mind more dust, and more aggressive pads, the Hawk HP+ pads are super. These pads will be more harsh on your rotors and are geared more towards people that may also autocross or do other forms of racing as well. For the money Hawk HPS pads are the best. I buy mine through Tire Rack, they cost about 68 bucks. A great combonation would be Powerslot Rotors, Hawk HPS pads, and Goodridge Stainless lines. Make sure to use a good high quality fluid as well. ATE, Castrol SPF fluid, Valvoline Synthetic all work well.

for some strange reason, my Hawk HP+ pads aren't dusty or noisy anymore before my rims and calipers used to be very dusty 3 days after cleaning them... but lately, all clean like back when i was on stock brakes.
Thanks for the input. I think I will just use some stock rotors from Schucks.
As for the pads, the Hawks look good. I see them on Tirerack, they are priced at $68. My question is is this for two or all four? Their picture shows all four but I can't believe it would be that cheap.
To quote the Doc, "the Hawk HP+ pads are super. These pads will be more harsh on your rotors and are geared more towards people that may also autocross or do other forms of racing as well." I loved my HP+ pads UNTIL they pretty much DESTROYED my rotors. I left the rear rotors stock, but had them turned at the same time I had my re-built VTEC calipers put on the front (w/ new Powerslot rotors). My powerslots warped worse than anything I've ever had before, and I don't know if it was the HP+ pads or not (yes, they were professionally installed). I wouldn't recommend these pads on a daily driver, esp if you encounter lots of traffic. I need recommendations on new pads to use in the future, as I put some new stock pads on all around... much smoother.

my front rotors warped like 3 months after i installed them and im not sure if its because of the HP+ pads or because the rotors were exposed to water while still hot...

Dude, I was paranoid about following the advice of both the Powerslot directions and the advice of fellow users on PO, and the damn rotors still went bad after about 6 months... I think I might just buy Brembo blanks all around, and get some Green Stuff pads. W/ Ludes, it seems you just can't win w/ aftermarket/crazy brake setups. W/ German cars, it's easy... just swap on some Porsche brakes, and you're golden (my buddies at Greedspeed did this w/ a GTR VR6, and they told me it felt like the back-end was going to come over their heads, the damn thing braked so well in the front end). I want to do the AEM big brake kit all around, but I know that cross-drilled rotors are a no-no...I guess we're f@cked?

I went with the cadmium coated/slotted brembo rotors and AEM pads. I like the improvement over stock. There is very little dust on my wheels when I clean them weakly. I paid about 185 for the fronts. My next brake upgrade will be the stainless lines as the doc said. So far I am very pleased with them and they look way better than the stock rotors.
Let me know what you go with Jason. I will be interested in knowing
Well, despite my problem w/ somebody cutting my front left line, the Goodridge lines w/ the HP+ pads and Powerslot rotors were AWESOME together, 'til the Powerslots started to warp. I had the fronts (Powerslots) turned after the little mishap, and they suck @$$. I've had the worst luck ever w/ brakes & steering (my steering has ALWAYS pulled to the left like a champ...) Right now, my money is going toward my new Recaro SRD seats, brackets, sliders, and my Spoon lip from Satan.
