Brake setup..

I need new rotors and pads on my car, I am considering Powerslot rotors and Axxis Metalmaster pads.

What is this setup like? Any good/bad points about either component?

Thanks

I've heard bad things about the Powerslot rotors.... do a search, I think you could find some things.

I'm running Axxis on all 4. Compared to AEM, I like AEM fronts better, but go with the Axxis in the rears. I have Powerslots in the rears. There's nothing special about them. Get anything for the rears and get Brembo blanks for the front.

Get Brembo slotted and cross drilled for the front. I have them and they work really well.

Ah if you heat em like crazy they will. I've had them for a year and drive really hard and they're fine.

Just get brembo blanks. I have powerslot slotted rotors and have no problems at all with them but blanks I think do just as well and you can get for cheaper.

I have AEM pads with powerstop rotors (x-drilled).

I have driven hard on these, even autocrossed with this setup, and I like it.

However, if I had it to do over I would stick to AEM pads or maybe try EBC, and I would probably get brembo blank rotors in front just because rotors tend to warp, and the blanks can easily be turned.

Thanks for the responses, I certainly won't be getting drilled rotors again as mine are cracked quite severely. Seems like I may go for blanks (maybe slotted, not sure) and a decent set of pads.
