Today I changed my stock rotors with brembo x-drilled/slotted. I changed my stock one because it was shake when everytime i brake... but today when i changed the rotors and put everything back and tested it out... it turn out to be shaking worst then b4 but this time it feel like my ABS was on but there wasnt no ABS Light on, was it because i broke too hard to cause my master cylinder break or can it be something out... it cant be the rotors because it shake like crazy when i brake but driving normal its drive smooth... plz help
i just put them on and everything is brand new rotors and pads. i think im pretty sure me and my friend put it in right and also the pad are factory from honda. we also double checked again everything look fine and we also bleeded the brake fluid.
did you go right out and pound on the brakes or have you given it a little break in period?? I just replaced my rotors from the same vibration problem with Brembo slotted rotors. I haven't had any problems at all. I'm thinking maybe somewhere in the slotted and drilled process they messed up your rotors. Where did you buy the rotors from?
I had and still have the same problem. I bought my rotors from 'raceconcepts' from groupbuy. I had to send the first set back and he sent me another one, but it didn't help. Vibrations weren't as bad but not something that's associated with new rotors.
I bought a set of Power Slot rotors from manhonda.com for my mom's 98 accord and they are smooth as butter when breaking.
Sometimes when the ball joints are worn they will also cause vibrations. If you don't know how to check them I would suggest taking the car to a reputable shop or honda dealer and have them check it.
Well, one thing that can happen when buying other than OEM brake rotors, is that they are slightly warped from the manufacturing process. Most reputable places will recommend turning the new rotors, and removing about 0.1" from the surface to make the rotors true. honda recommends that the rotors be turned on the car. If you check around, you might find a place that will turn a crossdrilled/slotted rotor. I know that our Carquest here in town will turn them for a slightly higher fee. Crossdrilled/Slotted rotors really put a beating on the Bits for the lathe, thus the higher fee. Also your ball joints, tie rod ends, and motor mounts can lead to excess vibration as well. You really shouldn't be out pounding on a new set of brakes either. They will require a break in period of about 200-1000 miles depending on driving style.

My previous rotors were cross-drilled but I've been to so many shops and no one would want to cut them. They say the cutting bits cost more than the rotors once they are done cutting a rotor. As soon as a the bit catches the hole or slotted part of the rotor it snaps. I'm actually suprised someone else is able to get this done.
The ball joints can vary in price. You can get the front and rear lower ball joints for about 25-30 a piece. the front and rear uppers are MUCH more. Honda in all their brillience decided to make the Ball joints un-replaceable (is that a word??) You will have to replace the entire upper control arm assembly. The new ones from Honda include a new ball joint, and they can run from about 130-180 bucks each depending on there you get them. The funny thing is, you can press the original ball joint out of the upper control arm, but no one makes a replacemnet, so Honda kind of has a monoploy on this one.

25-30$ for a lower ball joint? Honda quoted me 320$CDN for one side in front, it was the complete knuckle though... Can you get just the ball joint?

You can get just the Lower Ball joint by itself, from either honda or most parts stores. The upper is the one that requires you by the A arm as well.
