Brake problem -Auto Vtec.

Hi all, wonder if anyone can throw some light on a brake problem I have on my 93' prelude 2.2Vtec Auto Si.

It recently failed it's yearly M.O.T test on break inefficency. The tester said it was 81% inefficent on the 'rolling-road' (26% is limit) after having new pads & discs fitted. Also there is brake peddle creeping although the break lines have been bleed & no leaks on them or the master cylinder etc.

When driving the brakes seem okay & give plenty of stoppage, but can't explain the peddle 'creeping' i.e. holding/depressing the brake on only for it to carry on sinking to the floor. Is this just a feature of Automatics(never driven one before)?

If your brake pedal goes to the floor when you hold it your brake master cylinder is bad.

Couldn't have said it any better. It doesn't cost that much and the job is pretty easy. Just make sure you have a buddy to help when it comes to bleeding it.
