Brake pedal feel?

What's up guys, I have a 93 VTEC and the one complaint I have about how it drives is ever since I bought it (4 years ago) the brake pedal has been kinda soft. I have always envied my brother GS-R brake feel (rock hard) and I just drove a 1999 Prelude last night and the pedal was nice and firm. I've put new front rotors and flushed the brake fluid which did nothing for the feel. I've heard SS lines do almost nothing for the feel either. What can I do to get a firm brake pedal?

Maybe you brake cylinder is no good, my 92 grips like a MoFo with the new AEM pads, it should be feel tight, something has to be wrong with yours, do you have to refill the fluid recently, maybe a leak somewhere...just a thought....

I know that Spoon used to make a Master Cylinder brace (has since discontinued production). Some civic people I have talked to say that the brace increased pedal feel, and brake responsiveness. I have thought about fabing one up for my lude, seems easy enough in design.
