Brake pedal adjustment? - Honda Prelude Forum

hey guys

I just had my brakes master cylinder changed out. It was leaking.

Anyway, now that its replaced, it feels like I have to pushed down further than what I had to. Its kinda squshy too...
How do I adjust it to where the brakes catches further up then where its at now? I want like instant contact

Sounds like you may have air in the lines. Who bled the brakes when the new cylinder was put in? I'd bleed them again.

The shop did, and he even said he bled the lines... If theres air in the lines, will it ever come out? or just say? Im pretty sure its bled propperly.

The pedal position should be about the same. If it is squishy like you said I would agree with Ryan and say there is air in the lines. The only way I know to get the brakes to work earlier is new pads.
