brake making ticking sound

hey guys, maybe you can help me figure this out. i hear this sort of "ticking" sounds from my right rear brakes. when i first drive, it makes it all the time, then when i wear it down a bit, it goes away untill i press on the brakes again. i rotated that wheel by itself and it seems theres sort of a "rough patch" on the rotor thats causing this ticking sort of sounds. i know the ticking is coming from the rotor cause the increments at which it ticks is directly related to my speed. what can i do about it? i tried looking at it to see any irregularitys but i couldnt find any. maybe its on the backside and i have to remove the rotor to find that spot? i really dont feel like getting my rotors turned so maybe someone else has had this problem. my mom just got new brake pads and she has that same ticking sound aswell. i thought maybe it could be that my parking brake needs adjusting. what do you think?

warped rotor......take it off. taking it off is simple. remove the caliper, the caliper bracket, remove the two screws that hold in the rotor and off it comes

or replace. sounds like it might not be a bad idea to replace both rear rotors.

damn... that sucks. i replaced them not too long ago so they should be fine. but i guess they are warped so i should get em turned. ide rather take them off myself and hand them the rotors instead of them doing it. i wonder if ill get a big discount for doing that since all the work is done for them basically.

maybe ill try using my current pads and see if it can flatten em out, then put the new pads that i got on if it gets a lot better.
