brake lamp

have any of you had this problem. The brake lamp warning light will not go out once i push on the pedel. I replaced all the brake bulbs but still have this problem.

Mine is on most of the time and my bulbs are fine. meh. one of the downsides to owning an old car is that stuff starts acting funny, especially the electronics.

I had the same problem. What I found was that even though I didn't have a third brake lamp in top or rear window I still had two bulbs, one of which had blown!

The bulbs can be found by removing the headlining trim between the sunroof and rear window .

Replace the bulb(s) and everything should be fine.

i have that problem, of course its because i replaced it with 1157 led bulbs :P

lots of times people are replacing the wrong bulb. when you look it up in the book at the store, it tells you what kind of bulb to buy but its for the wrong one... the brake bulb that you are more than likely having problems with is a dual filament one, not the top one....
