brake kits please help

aright my rotors are warped, i know this. and its cause i almost had a head on with a dump truck. the f*cking thing was passing a biker on a hill and i just happend to pop over the top in my nice 93 si. i had to slam the brakes, down shift, e brake, everything i could not to get my ass killed. so now my steering wheel shakes like a b*tch and my stopping distance has incressed. i have stock brakes right now and im looking for a performance kit. i need some advice on what to hook myself up wit.
thanks alot
tyler

how much money are you looking to spend. ?
your cheapest upgrade would be to get the stock rotors turned and get a set of Nissin/AEM pads.

I got a pair of brembo rotors from lightning motorsports for $150 shipped, then a set of AEM pads (same as nissin) for $60 some. But Raybestos are pretty good too, you can get those pads from pep boys they should stock them.

hmmmm

My front rotors were warped like mad.
It was really dangerous because my tires would LOCK really easily and i would go skidding off the road(SUX) But i got some slotted/drilled rotors and some nice pads from(www.scvMotorworks.com) cost me only 200$ for the pads and rotors. I wanted only slotted but since the drilled/slotted came in i put them on. They look damn nice. The only problem is that the new rotors are a little slimmer than the stocks so the brake is a little softer than before. But when i get on it it stops damn good.

No ABS ?????
I have ABS, but with these hi friction pads and better rotors sometimes it will lock up and then ABS will try to kick on.... I am thinking about just yanking the damn ABS fuse. I will stop a lot sooner, but I might lock up completely.... Car still stops on a dime w/ abs, just got to be sure not to lean into it too hard.
