Yes they are different. I do believe we all have the same rears but the fronts are defiantly bigger on the vtec

Most people think they have performance value now, they did back in the day, but now, they could be detrimental to your pads and braking. How could slotted rotors provide more surface area when you are taking a chunk out it?
You daily drive and no road racing (as in the road course track and not street race), then just get oem, autozone, or cheaper axxis (for a more performance orientated drive)
For track, well that's a whole other subject.

brembo blanks are good, (don't get cross drilled or slotted). Racing as described above, I would get street pads and then different road racing pads like some cobalts or hp blues.

I've had axxis ultimates, ebc green stuff, hawk hp+. For street I would stick with ebc green stuff or axxis ultimates. I liked the ebc's slightly more. The hp+'s are a little too aggressive for daily driving.

As far as i know, vtec rotars/pads ARE different so I wouldn't reccomend getting them. They won't make much a difference for what you're doing anyways.
cross drilled/slotted rotars help reduce heat on the rotar. The less heat buildup = better stopping power and less wear.

I would not recommend this opinion other than getting some blank rotors + some decent pads.
Cross drilled / slotted rotors do not really help reduce heat. If you think about it logically, air doesn't conduct heat better than metal. So having "air holes" kind of defeats the purpose.
