Brake/ABS Dash Lights?

I have a 93 SI and I've got a few issues I'm trying to work out.

Recently the lower radiator hose failed, to replace it I pulled the plastic air-dam/splash shield off to get access to it. Once I finished the repair I didn't put it back on in case I needed to fix my fix. Well a few days later the ABS dash light came on. I thought it might be telling me my brake fluid was low due to near worn out front brakes.

The fluid was a little low, I replaced the front rotors and pads, which brought the fluid up to the top of canister. Now a day after that repair my Brake dash light is on and so is the ABS light as well. Any idea what the issue could be, the brakes feel like they are working 100%, no pull or burning smell.

Alright I got the Brake light to go out, by playing with the fluid resivour and the float inside it. Still have the ABS light on, is there anyway to figure out why that would have come on?

Same problem here. Yesterday I turned on the car and ABS and Brake lights stayed on. Some times both sometimes just one sometimes none. Weird as hell to me. Brakes seem find, although i didnt try to engage the abs function.

A fault detected in the brake system will usually trigger the ABS system to shut down (and illuminate the warning light). It's not weird at all, it's how the car was designed and it makes sense if you think about it. There are a lot of fail-safe mechanisms built into modern cars. Fix the cause of the "brake" light and the ABS should go away also.

Probably a bad resevior cap, but don't take my word for it, pull the code. Use the search feature to find out how, or google it.

Mine are random like this as well. Are ya'll talking about the E-brake light? My ABS light will come on sometimes and I ran the code and it says pressure regulator or something I think..it's been awhile. The hand brake light sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. All of my lights are weird though..I'm currently having a prob. with the oil light coming on sometimes and that is def. freaking out.

Anyone who has experienced this please help!

Download the Helm's manual and troubleshoot the problem.

Start with the ABS code in the ABS section.
