Bra for a 4th Gen Prelude

I have a bunch of rock chips in my hood. And now it looks like someone just keyed my car (deep 9" scrach, in bottem of hood). I got an estmate to fix it @ $600.00!!!! A bra would cover up everything... So, I think im just going to do that, untll I get the entire car repainted (probally in a year or 1.5 years). Does anyone have ANY pictures of a 4th gen with a bra on? I'm really looking for a pic of a blue-green prelude with a bra if possable. I found this one (http://www.hondaprelude.com/setups/s...=next&id=14332) and I think it looks good, what do you guys think?

Also where can I buy a bra? I know lebra.com, but they dont even have a picture of it. The oem one looks nice, but where can I get it, and how much?

IMO, I would never put a bra on my car. For about 450 you can get a CF hood. I have rock chips than look at a bra all day long. I think they belong on cars from the 80's(mullet required)

I've got the half bra on my 5th gen, and I think it looks pretty sweet. It kinda looks agressive, but I don't put it on much.

I think bra's are dumb unless your takin a long road trip.

They protect your paint from scratches, but whats the point
if you dont see the paint?

I think youd be better off with the scratch it looks much better.
You could always try touch up : /

I think the bra's look nice sometimes...I saw this one red 4g lude with a bra on and it didn't look too bad...but If I had a choice I wouldn't put one on...Do they make OEM bras? I think I saw ones with the "Prelude" etched on the bra...looked pretty tite...

I had one for my car, bought one without the license plate hole, I thought it looked pretty tight. But what I noticed was that one afternoon, I'd left the bra on the car and it started to rain while I was in class. When I got out of class and drove it home, I took the bra off--the paint on the hood was discolored. Thankfully, I recently rear-ended someone and got my hood and front bumper fixed... Now that I have a front license plate I can't use it anymore.

If you take good car of your car and clean the bra often (that is, make sure to remove the few pebbles and debris that gather on the inside of the bra), I think it would look tight. I don't have any pics, though... and mine's blue/green, too...

So, you heard it, be a bad driver and get your front end fixed, no more scratches/oxidation or imperfections!

(oh, yeah.... I just took off my pinstripe after 10 years and I didnt notice ANY fading.... so I dont think a bra would leave a fade mark.)
