The "Silverstar" are very nice. They are sold with the Sylvania name, but they are actually Osram (OEM HID company) bulbs. From what I have heard, they are very quality bulbs.

Just out of curiosity, are our bulbs the h4 style? Also, where can you buy these silverstar bulbs at? What color are they? Really brite white or are they blue? I don't want anything too blue.

I did the 9005-->9006 conversion and am VERY pleased with the results, with normal stock bulbs. I liked them more than my $60 PIAAs that blew out.

I might pick up these Sylvanias everyone is talking about when these blow

i saw the Silverstar bubls at Autozone for 20 bucks a bulb, still haven't seen how they look though, i'll probably pick up a pair this weekend and let you know how they look.

9006 for low beams, 9005 for high

yeah its 9006 for lows and 9005 for highs. The H4 you're thinking of is for the 5G Preludes. (I think.)

You dont have to replace the high beams. I didn't replace them because I use them on a rare occasion, and my low beams are used most of the time.

Only replace your low beams for now. Unless you live in a very dark area, like country or canyons.
