Boring dash question

I want to replace a burned bulb that lights up the sunroof button that is located on the left side of the dash. The panel that holds that button also holds the cruise control and the interior light dim switch. I was wondering if that panel can just be popped out by carefully prying it out, or are there screws on the other side. Thanks yall!

Just give it a yank. It is held in by little springs. It should just pull free from the dash. Then you just unplug the three plugs and out it comes.

GE 100W from walmart....not the clear ones, but the cloudy kind. jk...

They are small though.....i think honda has some. check honda automotive parts online or something, but the shipping would prob be more than the bulb.

My sunroof button is also out! I need to replace them, so GE 100W eh? Thank you.

My other switches have the green tint. Do I need to buy a green bulb to make them match or just get a clear one and it has a green translucent filter on the button?

Try an auto store like pep boys or auto zone they are usually 10-20% cheeper than Honda. Thats what I would do unless your stuck on going with OEM through out the car.

I pulled the bulb out and it is so teeny! Its got to be the smallest bulb in the car. I went to Walmart and some no name auto parts store and they didnt have it, of course. Ill probably have to pick it up at Honda.

I found out that if you tap the switch a bit, sometimes it will come back on. Usually the light isn't burned out, its just not in place.

I swapped the bulb from my S to my Si to make sure it was the bulb and it worked. So my S will have to suffer without one for the time being!

Also i looked on LightLens.com and I think I found the ones I need. Scroll all the way to the end of the page and I think its either LB74B or LB74G. Can anyone confirm one or the other? You would think that they would be the blue ones cause the stock bulb is clear with that blue condom wrap over it, but once installed it looks green through the switch. I dunno?

Whats this ??? there is a light for the sunroof button on the left of steering wheel ??? .. I never knew ...
Is there one for cruise (besides the green light when its on) and the dimmer also ??

If you goto radio shack you can solder in a 12v light in there for 50cents if you dont want to pay 5bux for the light from Honda.

Or if your creative, use some needle-nose plyers and re-use the plastic piece off the light and bend the wires around it.
