the boots!

I need both CV boots replaced on my car..

How much is this part roughly? Both of them are torn right now..

And approx how long would a shop charge for labor on these?

If I can remember right I got mine done about 3 months ago and I think it was 98 bucks for both of them if I remember correctly it was either 98 bucks for both or just one of them but I got them both done.

how long have they been torn?

its probably best to buy new axles since the grease may have leaked out of the joint. Rebuilt axles are like $64 each at NAPA if you give them your old ones.

the axles are still good, just need to get the boots done soon.

to the 2 people who bought them 98bux each, was that with labor or just the part??

I think most people just replace the complete axle. It's a fairly simple process. I suggest you learn how to do it yourself as it will save you money yearly.
