do ya'll think rims that have so many bolt holes are universal? or is it just like universal 5 lugs differ from 4 universal lugs.... coz i'm gonna switch rims from 5th gen to 4th gen prelude.... thanx people

....ummm i am kinda confused but, just letting you know 4th gen and 5th gen rims aren't interchangable... But I don't understand your question.

It depends some rims come with universial lug patterns.
A lot of commons ones have universal 4x100 and 4x114.3.
Ussualy they have the same lug numbers such as 5 with 5 or 4 with 4. The only rims I know of that acutally have a 5 and 4 lug pattern is the racing harts, some of their rims have 4x114.3 and 5x114.3 allowing them to fit both 4th and 5th gens.
Heres some examples

This one has a 4 lug universal lug pattern.


This one has a 4 and 5 lug pattern on it.

Look at it carefully and you can see how the lug patterns are offset. It's a bit confusing..
