Bodykit question on dropped ground clearance (i searched)

i got backed into by a soccermom the other day and im gonna need a new front bumper from my insurance. well i also figured id spend a few hundred more on a kit and have my dad install it when he paints my car over. my car is dropped with eibachi springs, i dont know if they are pro or sport ride or how to tell. assuming its the lower of the 2, and im on stock rims, how much lower should a kit make me to the ground? about how much lower to the ground is a kit versus your normal bumper, ss, etc?

Should have a part number on the springs. I don't know if you can see them or if they are on the back side.

HONDA, Prelude - 1992-96
(Incl. All Wheel Steering Option)

PRO-KIT 1.2 in 1.0 in part number - 4016.140

SPORTLINE KIT 1.7 in 1.5 in part number - 4.1640

Do you have lots of wheel gap or no wheel gap?

You say how much will a 'kit' drop you...

It depends on the kit...

Here is my Wings West RS kit on Eibach Sportlines:

That's 5" of front clearance.

That wouldn't last a week here. Too many wild animals.

Well I find if you aim to the middle of the car, you have about 7-8" of clearance....so the downpipe gets it instead

No way are those Sportlines Joel! My sportlines completely swallow my front wheels, and extremely minimal to no wheel gap in the back.

You positive those arent Pro's?

satan_srv what about before and after kit? like approximately how much lower do you think clearance is with a kit. i was thinking of putting on an octane style kit and i didnt want to smash it up (new england loves potholes).right now nothing really touches on the body if i scrape its the guts of the car itself.

Car at stock height with 215/45/17 tires. It was on H&R Race springs before and only had less then an inch of ground clearance. Was so hard to drive around and find a gas station that doesn't have a steep ramp when it was on the H&Rs.

ground zero what would you say your ground clearance is now with the kit? it looks like its too low already to me. i dont know how my car would handle it. where did you get that kit? how much higher up do you sit with the 17 rims over stock rims?

He didn't say his tire width....if the tires are 205/45/17 then ride height is the same as stock.

Well, I don't know exactly but I think it's about 3 inches more or less. I got to measure it sometimes.

I got the front bumper from VIS Racing and the Black Widow sides and rear from GroundDesigns2000.

The tires are 215/45/17 so that gives me almost another centermeter of height.
