Body Kit or Slammed?

Should I just get a body kit for my car and make it look lower or go all out and get new springs, shocks, camber kit?? The new suspension stuff seems to be a lot more expensive then the body kit...what do ya'll think??

Well let's see here...springs 180-200...shocks 300-500...camber kit 100-200...so a total of 580-900 depending on what brands and prices i find...when i can just get a body kit for like 300-400...and people, please fill me in on why wheel gap is so terrible, i don't get it???

Just get a full kit and BIG wheels so your wheel gap won't show as much....

If you already have your mind made up then dont ask. All I can give is my opinion and it is only that an opinion. The forum setup is to ask questions about something you are unsure of. It can also be used for an opinionated viewpoint also. But do us a favor and tell when you only would like thoughts. If all you wanted to hear was "get a bodykit and leave it at stock height" then you should have posted "I am getting a bodykit" And then maybe asked for ideas if needed. Whenever you do get your kit take some pictures and Ill show you what fender gap is. Thx

Not sure how u came to that conclusion...and i know what a wheel gap is...and i don't know what i'm doing yet that's why i asked...why do u come and flame me when all ur doing is assuming?? I wanted to know why wheel gap is so un-attractive...i never said "Preludeacris i have no clue what wheel gap is, please flame me because i ask questions" did i??? i asked if i should get a body kit or spend the extra money and get the suspension...this forum is setup for people to ask questions w/o getting flamed

There were no offensive words used in my reply. I simply stated why are you asking what you should do if you already know what YOU want. It seemed like from your last post you already knew the cost of both things and you were leaning towards the bodykit already. If you were to post pics of your car with a kit and no drop on stock rims "Im assuming" they would say you look like a 4x4 with a lift kit on it. Like I said It is only my opinion. I am as new to my lude as the next guy but from working with prior cars one of the first mods people get is their suspension. Not their kit. And another question for you, will you even consider the cost of painting your kit in the equation? Or will you just drive around with a multicolored car like most people do?

Ditto...you can see mine in my sig. I think it looks a LOT better then a slammed stock lude. Is your lude at S? I would without a doubt do a kit then. All show.....if I was you.

get a kit first and see how low you want to go, because Im sure without one you want a 2-3" drop, with one you'll have a completely different mindset.. driveabliity is pretty important..

errorr - where are my damn 4x4 lude pix? i wanna see yours fully inflated
