JDM Climate Control ??'s

EDIT- More pics and ?????'s at the bottom of thread

this is hopefully my LAST thread about the jdm CC, If i have more ???'s i will list them under here

as of now, i have made all the necessary splices for the blower motor to work
however, when i hook it up and start the ca the fan speeds dont turn on.....when i press the fan button i hear an occasional click from the relay but no movement has happened yet

my recirc motor opens and closes fine.....

i havent looked at it too much yet, but im just looking for hints/suggestions......i can post pics of whatever you guys need to see in order to solve this problem

thanks a lot

Did you wire up the transistor properly? Is it installed where the old blower resistor was. It is possible you have a bad transistor. You may also want to check your relay wiring as even with a dead transistor you should still get full speed.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but when i did the conversion i hooked all grounds to the thick (about 12gauge) black wire that used to connect to the fan controls in the usdm unit..

you didn't get the harness that connects to the evap. sensor?

One of them is ground which goes to pin #17 in the 20-pin connector in the head unit (this wire along with all other sensor grounds and air mix motor ground all connect into the same pin)

The other wire hooks to pin #9 in that same connector.

I don't know how to tell which is ground or the other since both are gray, i'm sure you'll figure it out or someone will tell you
