Ok. I pulled out my stock front blinkers and was looking behind there. I found the wire that plugs into the back of the light and I found another wire just hangning loose. I looked on the other side and it had one there as well. Does anyone know what those wires go to? There is a plug on the end of it. I am wondering if it can be used to wire some fog lights. Anyone know?
Thanks
Can you lead me in the direction of a set so I can see what they look like? Is there an interior switch that controls them or is it something that has to be done extra? thanks for the help guys!
It's optional, and honda stopped making them. You may find some stocked up, but I heard they are out in most places now. The kit comes with the Harness that attaches under the dash. All that harness does is act like a series of jumpers. and the kit comes with the factory button that is placed in the center console with existing harness plug there. You have to remove and cut your bumper to install them. They look great. I prefer this than the aftermarket ones, because they blend in. you should see them in my sig pix.... or in this pix....
Everything Son mentioned is correct. They are hard to come by but look very nice if you are keeping your stock bumper. They have a carbon fiber bezel which really looks great.
Still low mileage Andy, you have the same amount as I do!
Son, geocities wouldn't let me get to the picture. Here is a picture from HP.com member BB1-4WS. Hope you don't mind.
How low is your car and do you have camber kits on both the front and the rear?
Your wheels look perfectly straight. I have a camber kit on my fronts but the shop that did my coilovers said that the rear is still within spec but I can visually see there is negative camber.

I'm no positive how low the car is (its on coilovers and I didnt measure.) my camber is pretty bad. I wear the (from inside part of the tread to the middle) 1.5 inches on my front tires.. My back ones are pretty straight

I figured the front needed it badly after the drop so I have an ingalls kit there. They said the rear is very forgiving on Preludes and a camber kit is rarely needed back there.
I traveled about 6000 miles on my previous rims and tires and didn't notice a hint of uneven tread wear. I guess they were right.

yeah, I hear the same thing that prelude's rear camber is not needed... but my car is dropped 3 inches in the back... and 4 inches in the front.... and the rear camber is WAYYY worse than the fronts!!! When my friend saw me drifting/skidding in a parking lot, he said that my camber was so bad that half of the tire is off the ground.
They were $86 a piece so $172 for the front set. They didn't cost me anything to install because the shop had to remove everything for the coilover install.

Just in case you are planning on getting a camber kit, look into Progress because the Ingall kit squeaks like crazy (I think they offer it for our car). It's very embarrasing when your lady is in the car
