I was also throw an abs code. It was 3 short flashes pause then 1 short flash again. I asked people on the board and they told me they can read codes for the abs only the check engine light.

ABS codes are read through the abs light using your dealers ALB checker. The ALB port is the orange plug under the passenger seat.

ABS Code 1: ABS pump motor overrun
Causes: could be ABS solenoid, ABS pump motor, or pressure switch.---Mine had this code needed a new motor (about $2,000) --no more ABS for me.

ABS Code 3-1: wheel speed pulsers--check for proper installation/alignment

yea dude, this ABS crap is making me mad, I had my ABS go off for a the longest time....never really was too worried about it since i have slotted rotors to help stop...
but then I took it to the shop saying "what the hell, might as well see what the issue is" the guy put the scanner to it, to see what code it would throw out and nothing came....every since then, no ABS light........wtfffff

Yeah i jump the connector where we check the engine light i guess but it still made the abs light flash and give me a code. So can you also check the abs light in the check engine light source. It was my abs light that on it gave me the code for that. So i guess you can check your abs on that.

Well they don't help you stop any better but if you do have upgrated brakes(bigger rotors and calipers) losing you ABS would be worse. Your wheels would lock easier and we all know locking up the tires is not good. Most people are not used to pumping the brakes and in a panic situation will not do it. That is why ABS is a good system. If you are a skilled driver that is use to braking as fast as possible with out abs then you would be fine.

i got the code from jumping the sevice connector that you jump for the CEL and thats what code i got hmm...thats weird.

jgprelude i think i got a 3-1 code because it blinked 3 times but they all had long pauses in between them so is that a code 3-1 or 1?

another thing...i noticed a yellow plug just laying there next to the blue sevice connector. what does that go to?? should it be plugged into anything??
