good luck...

take the fenders off.... take the stock side skirts off....

fab up some L brakets....
buy a rivit gun and a bunch of rivits
make sure you have a drill
mount L brackets in the area under the fender for a couple rivits...
then space out brackets all the way down the car...
rivit in the brackets to the car...
then rivit the skirt to the brackets...
the problem is going to be mounting it under the 1/4 panel...
-- i personally got under the car, drilled 2 holes under the lip of the 1/4 panel and rivited up through the skirt and the 1/4 panel...

youre not finished... this is going to hang quite well but has no side to side reinforcement... youre going to have to make up some more brackets... what i did was take some sheet metal... not too thick that you cant bend it by hand... but you cant use a tin can either...

i cut them into 3 inch wide strips about 10 inches long... and kinda bent into an S.... rivits again into the bottom of the inside lip of the side skirt... and the top to the car... the point of the S bracket is to give some springage(is that a word) to the the skirts... these things sit low and i didnt want to just rip out the brackets if it scraped something... the S bracket lets you keep a sturdy skirt but they will bend if they need too...
hope that all makes sense

if not i can get you some pics withing the next few days

they dont look right that way at all... i think the skirts look better flush with the body, not coming out at a 90 degree angle then back down at a 90 degree angle... totally mess with the lines if you ask me...

but if youre cool with it do it that way

so i made my own way of mounting... took me about an hour and a half start to finish... never had a problem in 3 years that way and theyve scraped **** more times than i could count....

he asked what the best way was to mount the skirts, so my way is the best in my opinion, its performed well for me for many years...
