Bigger rims

I'm looking at putting a set of Motegi MR-7 rims onto my car. Right now I have the stock 14 in. wheels and I am looking at putting either 16's or 17's on. Could anybody who has put these sizes of rims onto thier car tell me if it is a good idea, or if it will throw the car off to much with those sizes.

no worries

getting 16's or 17's should be no problem.
16's are wicked for performance,
and 17's are great for looks...
use this to ensure the rolling diameter of yer new rims (+tires) will be as close to stock as possible - speedo and odo accuracy issues.

Haha did you copy my response from Honda-Tech? http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=252260

You match rim sizes with tires so that you don't change the overall rolling diameter of the wheel.

Go here and you'll see what I mean http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html play with it to go your ideal wheel/tire combo
