Hello, i have an H22A2 prelude (EDM)
and have big problems with my VTEC, smetimes it kicks in, but usually dont.
There is no check engine light, oil is changed, solenoid is new, EGR is new.
Oil pan is not dented
So what could cause the problem?
Also the motor reving past 6400 rpms, til 7000 or even 8000 rmp, but sometimes there is Solenoids click on 5000rpm, and i can feel and hear VTEC HRRRRRRR, and sometimes there is nothing, engine just reving 6400rpm, but there is no VTEC

ahh the first post in the 4g section that could have been easaly found with a search since it is now a free site

check your oil level, it can be low enough that vtec wont engage but not low enought you get a dummy light
