Big Problem!!!!!please Help!!!!!!

HERES THE DEAL...last nite i was on the highway racing a mustang and i was at about 6800rpm in 5th doin like 140mph and all the sudden my car lost a lot of power and wen i took my foot off the gas it just stalled...then i try starting it up and it was strugglin to start but then it would just PUTT the whole way home....
so this mornin i took checked the spark plugs and the whole tip was broken off one of them...so i bought new spark plgs and put them in and now there is oil on te spark plug that was broken and white smoke is comin out of the exhaust...i think the tip of the spark plug scratched the cylinder wall but i dont know wut to do....this is my daily driver and i need to get it fixed asap...please help!!!!

Its sounds like at first you hit the fuel cutoff/ limiter..but these other things...bring it to someone...unless other here have more imput...but I think the end result is a trip to the mechanic

I'm not sure, but isn't white smoke a sign of an engine losing water? i.e. blown head gasket?? which would tie in with the loss of power.

well it could all depend on what you have done inside your motor. if it is still stock there is little chance that something hit. but since you do have a busted spark plug i would have to say something hit it. if you sucked something in there or if your head maybe dropped a valve into the cylinder. the oil means that you might have blown part of your head gasket. it needs to go to a mechanic for sure. dont be too scared these are pretty much worst case.

Check the compression in a 4 cly.... drain your coolant and look for oil... you'll probably have to yank the head. good luck

the tip of the spark plug is still in there. and something like that which doesn't belong in there is very likely to cause preignition.

with that, the white smoke, loss of power, etc basically entails the removal of the head for further inspection/repairs. if the plug tip is in fact still in there it can also jump around or lodge itself between the piston and cylinder walls scoring them up pretty bad. take action quick, or just not driver the car until you CAN take action.

good luck

Could also be...

...a fried piston ring. Thats what happened to me, i removed the spark plugs and 3 of the 4 were burnt BLACK and chared, if thats how you spell it, also they had oil on them too. My car would also stall a lot, just putting it in gear and putt putt all the way home, i had burnt piston rings and a blown head gasket not to mention a cracked cylinder.... yea i guess redlining an H23 past the 6500 and at 7000 is a bad idea.... o well this weekend i am gonna have my JDM H22A so i don't care, i had fun abusing my engine and tearing it up... pics are soon to come...

Definitely a compression test is needed!

Sounds bad though, let us know.
