Big abs problem need help asap

Ok so my abs light has been on for like 3 weeks and i have thought nothing of it. I know that my abs hasnt been working b/c i had to brake fast a couple of times. Well tonite I took my car out for a little spin and the light didnt come on so i was very happy but then i hear like this noise that is the brakes pumping but the car is not slowing down. I then put my foot on the brakes lightly and the sound now continues but the abs engages as i can feel the brake pedal pumping. Then i take my foot off the brake and he noise comes back and i dont put my foot on the brake this time and it stops after like 5 seconds. This noise comes back for seconds after i brake everytime no matter how hard i brake. But the abs is now working b/c after the noise stopped one time i slammed on the brakes and the abs engaged???? I have no idea of what is happening? Also the noise seems to be coming from the rear passenger wheel area and ever since my abs went out there has been a slight squealing noise from that wheel.

Has anyone had this happen or know what is up? I am really worried cause i dont want my brakes to just go out or something so pleae if you have any ideas post them up.

i would 1st pull the code for the abs and take it from there you pull the code the same way as you would for the check engine light but it will blink diffrently the 1st set will be the 1st number the the 2nd set will be the second number thats one code it may do another code if there is one other wise it will just repeat the 1st code

Sounds like a bad wheel speed sensor.
