I know they're a replica of the real combat kit, but does anyone know if they're still decent for the price (about 600$ shipped)?
Has anyone ever bought one off of ebay? If so, do you recommend any sellers? Any sellers not to buy off of? In some of these auctions I notice all the negative feedback, such as the kit taking months to arrive, and then arriving chipped or cracked.
Don't buy that one, the guy as no feedback, probably just changed his name because he had a lot of negatives.I have seen that setup of the auction before. I just got one from ebay, from a guy who makes replicas but in blue fiberglass(very high quality) if you want his e-mail let me know
i got the front bumper of the body kit from genesis design on e-bay. It got to me in a reasonable amount of time, and i got a slightly lower price than anywhere else i had seen. The only prob was that they indicated $50-$60 bucks to ship and i ended up having to pay $140!!
How's the quality of the fiberglass? Any chips or cracks? How did it fit or how much modification did it need to be installed on your lude? I'm seriously considering buying a body kit off of ebay once I have the $$. Some of the ebay pics I've seen of the body kit they sell uninstalled and unpainted has discouraged me because of how poor quality the kits look. However, from what I hear fiberglass is fiberglass so I guess even the original ones look something like that when they're uninstalled and unpainted.

Yeah I know, but I'm not talking about that seller in specific, but all combat kit sellers in general. I assume they're all pretty much the same replica kit. A lot of different auctions go up for the combat kit from different sellers. And unlike this guy, most of them have at least decent seller ratings.
I haven't had the kombat front end that i ordered installed yet, but i took off the original bumper just to make sure that it lines up. It isn't a perfect fit right away, i had to cut a piece or two out of the way and flex the bumper a bit. You also have to drill your own holes. In other words, i would say it isn't worth installing on your own. Once a professional paints it, and you go through all the drilling and flexing to put it on, you'll most likely damage or crack the paint, just find one place to install and paint it.
Hey be sure and post some pics up when you get it painted and installed alright! Or at least installed just to see how it looks. I'm now considering the Blitz front which is on auction at ebay, it looks SWEET.
i just got the one off of ebay the pink lude and its fine no holes but a good body man can fix that the kit came with two sides and the front white and the back is grey other than that it looks fine a ***** to install but thats all the fun of it right!
Well I'm in the process of getting my kit but it's been 2 weeks overdue and the guy I bought from has been suspended from EBAY. I would actually stay away from EBAY for anything over $200 since that's all they insure you for.
Make sure you pay with credit card so you can dispute later if you get screwed.
Who cares about the quality when you can't even receive the product
i was thinking they may have the best ship times, best prices and all. but not very many people follow up with the feedback about how well the fitment is....
Stay away unless its blue fiberglass , and make sure u have a shop do it . I did my own bodykit i bought off ebay and well ive been cutting and remolding fiberglass ever since and still im not done it sux but its not that bad quality but the blue stuff is the best from what i heard or stick to Uretheyne.
