I need a new clutch. I am thinking of either Clutchmasters fx200 or the ACT Xtreme with the Carbon disc. Which one is better. If there is a better one let me know. By the way I have a H23 with i/e/port&polish/safc.
Both are nice clutches and you should be good with either one. ACT is supposed to be a bit harder on the car though - stick with the street disc if you go that route.
I have the clutchmasters stage 1 and I haven't had any problems. A little bit stiffer pedal but a definitely a nice grab to it. The FX200 is made of kevlar so it'll last a longer than the stage 1 but it has the same clamping force. For the extra money I'm not sure it's worth it unless you are really abusing your clutch.
