Best Transmission

I was wondering what is the best transmission to use for the H22A block. All three are different, doesn't the h23a transmission have the shortest gears, so would it be best for acceleration?

Actually, the H22a has the lowest ratios, here are the 4th gen ones:

F22A1
1st:3.307
2nd:1.809
3rd:1.230
4th:0.903
5th:0.705
r:3.00
Final drive: 4.062
Tranny code: M2L5

H23A1
1st: 3.307
2nd: 1.857
3rd: 1.320
4th: 1.034
5th: 0.812
r:3.00
Final drive: 4.266
Tranny code: M2S4

H22A
1st: 3.307
2nd: 1.950
3rd: 1.360
4th: 1.071
5th: 0.870
r:3.00
Final drive: 4.266
Tranny code: M2F4

*I have a M2B4 which is the same as a M2F4 but with limited slip diff. I've heard that M2A4 is the JDM h22a tranny without LSD..

4th gen. h22a all the way. it's slightly shorter then the 5th gen.

the higher the ration, the shorter the gear.

the jdm itr have that optional 4.875 final drive.

sick stuff

Back from the dead

Can someone add the specs for the 95 JDM tranny with LSD. I assume the gear ratios are the same as the 4th gen H22A tranny, but what is the Tranny code? Will that one be the M2B4 too? Mine will be here on Friday.
Satan SRV, or kevie88?

JDM H22A W/ LSD = M2B4

Exact same specs as M2F2 but with LSD.

Thanks^^^ That's how I read the statment above too, but since he has a 93", I thought I'd verify.

Same gear ratios as the USDM 4th gen H22A tranny?
