best tire size/brand? HELP NEEDED

I'm thinking about getting a set of 17's for the lude. I was interested in yalls reccomendations for tire size, 205/40/17, 205/45/17, or 215/40/17...Which are the differences b/w them and what would be the best for daily driving, occasional track use on a 93 SI? also, how do Kumho Ecstas 711 rate?

thanks
PEACE

Go with the 215/40/17 size because that will keep your speedometer the most accurate. My brother has the Kumhos on his car and thinks they are great. My truck will need new tires by spring and I'll be buying the Kumhos for it. Hope this helps.

i have kumho ecsta 215/40/17's, and they are great for houston weather...although i hear that they are not as effective in wet and/or snowy areas...

kumho ecsta

I have them on the front only and they work pretty good in wet.
I should know, I lived in Seattle for a while. It rained 4-5 days of the week up there during Fall,Winter and Spring.
the sidewall is softer compared to XGT.
it screams before loosing traction.(in dry)
they are very good for the money spent.
