Best suspension setup??

Right now I have my eyes looking at some Eibach lower springs (nothing more then 1.5") with some Koni struts. Is this a feasbile combo or is there something better / more efficient? Price is an issue, rather not spend around 1G for suspensions thats why I don't even feel like looking at a good pair of coilovers. Listing your setups + money costs would be very much appreciated .

I found a set of Tein basics for around $800 shipped. I think that was probably better than shipping 2 different things and pairing them up.

You're actually quite wrong on this one.

Pretty much no full coilover setup under $1500 (probably more) can beat the koni yellows + gc coilovers, especially if you get them revalved.

To the OP, get it, you won't regret it.

Wait a minute, I'm probably not the smartest person alive, but how would I be able to get Koni's + a coilover setup? Wouldn't either/or defeat the purpose of the other one i.e Koni's = no coilovers and vice versa? After posting this thread today, I went to see if there were anying Koni strut packages and I came along http://www.shox.com/appguide/shoxsho...ctsdisplay.php
A lot cheapier then I had in mind if I were to get them seperately. With a plus side it includes Eibach springs but I'm not exactly sure if it's the exact ones I was looking at though.

Also, is Koni's probably the best struts I can get? I see many other options but Koni's seem to have such a good name towards them. And since money is an obstacle, would any of these be any good compared to them Koni Shocks, Tokico Shocks, KYB Shocks, Bilstein Shocks Honda Prelude ? Like are any of these companies similar, worse / better?

And on another note, based on your own personally experiences, are H&R's better then Eibach?

1. You should probably search around but there are numerous threads on this. Koni yellows are just shocks, you technically could use stock springs on them. Ground Control Coilovers are just sleeves that replace the spring setup.

2. Koni's aren't the best you can get but probably with your budget. You should never ask such an open question. The best you can get will cost somewhere in the tens of thousands.

3. Kyb or agx shocks are also good. If you just want a slightly stiffer ride and small drop, this is the way to go. Most people who are looking for koni's are more into auto-x / road racing / non-bling type suspensions.

Very good on-going thread on H-T:
Ultimate 5th Gen suspension setup - Honda-Tech

Koni with Ground Control Coilovers is the most highly recommended setup. You can't go wrong. Especially if you re-valve them in the furture.

You can get a combo deal with Koni Shocks and G/C Coilovers for around $800 Shipped.
