i dont have an aftermatket hearder right now, but i was told that the stainless steel ones wont break as easy as the ceramic ones. The header heats up alot and can cause the ceramic one to expand and crack after a period of time, say two years or so. And all the places ive seen have dc headers for more than $300, close to $400 for the stainless.

You sure that the ceramic ones break??? I thought ceramic had a higher melting point than steel. They coat the tip of the space shuttle in ceramic so the space shuttle doesn't burnup when re-entering the atmosphere.
Oh well. I thought most people bought the steel one becaus eit looked better.

My ceramic has a little hairline crack. Actually, it's probably bigger than a hairline by now, since you can feel it with your nail.

And the SS is made of a harder steel than the ceramic, but it can discolor over time. The ceramic stuff is just a softer steel coated with ceramic to prevent corrosion (and discoloration).
