Best place to buy a 92 Prelude ignition switch ??

My 1992 Prelude (5-speed with a 2.2 DOHC JDM engine) died some weeks back on the way to work. There was a slight burning smell when it died. I tried to restart it and the engine was turning over fine, even acted like it was going to start but nothing.

I noticed while trying to start it the key wanted to stick in the start position and I was even able to pull the key out while the engine was cranking! I also noticed that for a few months before it died, the steering wheel lock was failing to lock the wheel when the car was off and the key was removed.

Using the Helms manual, I tested the ignition switch. It appears to be losing continuity in the ON position when I touch the key.

Soooo... I need a whole new ignition switch. Probably like this one...

1992-1993 Honda Prelude Ignition Switch - Standard

My questions...

- Does anyone know where I can find the best price on a new ignition switch?
- After I get the switch and install it, how do I re-key the doors, center console, trunk, and trunk pass-thru to the new keys? Are we looking at getting a locksmith? Or should I be able to re-key the new ignition switch to match the other locks?

Thanks,
Wayne

i get mine at ebay... for $50 + sh to PR = $62.50
when I was about to buy it there were like 3.. and one of them had all the key cilinders for about the same price (ended b4 i get convinced that it was my problem)

for the keys... now i have two but almost use the ignition switch key only... i have alarm so no need of the key for the doors... for the trunk i have it wired with the alarm too but sometimes it won open... thats why i carry both and just in case the alarm dont want to open the doors

to remove it, i used a dremel with cutting disk, and make some "dents" in the screws and used a flat head screwdriver to remove them and used the same screws with "dents" to install it
-those screws looks like a rivet, but is a torx bolt or something like that, you are supose to buy the screws

i notice of my problem because i was having problems trying to start... duh!.. but if i used the remote start it will start fine... later i need to move the key from 0 to 2 like 5 times or more to make it remain started, because it will start but i needed to leave the key in the starter position or it will turn off (the starter wont continue craking, at least in my case) (the main idea is like the contacts changed their positions)
