Best Oil to use in 95 si 2.2l f22a1?

Hi I have only owned my si for a few months an its first service is due.
Reading the manual gives me a chart with what tempratues the car has to endure , and what oil is sugested for what conditions. My car will have to run in tempratures above 40 degresse and will not go under -10 degresse.
With this in mind the chart aimed me towards 10w40 oil.

Now my question is has anyone used 10w40 oil in their f22a1?
And what is my best choice semi synthetic or full synthetic and what brand keeping in mind that I dont know what oil is in the engine currently.
Thanks josh

i use 5w30 mobile one full synthetic. that is what i recommend. if anything i would stick with 5w30. just dont go with a no-name. stick with mobil, valvoline, castrol, etc.

I agree on Mobil One full synthentic being the best. Although here in the warmer climate of Texas I run 10w30 year round.

I've used Mobile One since buying my '92 Prelude S with 38K miles on it in 1994. The stock F22A1 engine finally let loose in 2005 with 193K on it. I got it swapped out with a used F22B engine which probably had about 40k miles on it. I now have 238K on my Lude and according to my mechanic the cylinder pressure tests show the engine is still very tight. So using Mobil One must be doing me some good.

Another reason I like to run synthentic... If I ever had a leak, I'd be able to easily tell if it's the oil or manual tranny fluid. Full synthentic Mobile One doesn't smell like natural motor oil.
