battery issues? need input ASAP

ok, i've had my car for 5, almost 6 years now and i've never changed the battery.

lately i've been having a little problem starting the car, but it would always start. however today, all my dash lights started flickering after running for 15 sec or so. i'm just making sure that the battery is the issue here, and not something else.

is there anything else i should take a look at or consider?

thanks

problem fixed...

i found out that the car would start when i was holding the key in the cranked position (not good for the starter but i had to do it to find out). figured out the problem was the colored part in the pic...

its the electrical part of the ignition switch (Honda Part # 35130-SS0-306 ~$65).

turns out that its a much easier fix than i thought it was going to be... took me all of 1 hour to replace the part and re-zip tie the wires back together.

and i got a new battery and i can totally tell the difference
