Ball Joint Prelude 4 = 5 gen ?

Hi,

Can someone confirm me if the Ball joint from the 5 gen are the same for the 4 gen ?

I can't find ball joint for my Lude, they only sell 5 gen prelude or complete 4 gen control arm.

Thanks

this should generate at least a few good hits in a search. You should be able to find an answer there if nobody is responding fast enough for you.

The ball joints are different on both generations.
Another option is to unmount the arm off and take it to a shop that repairs ball joints.
Aftermarket joints aren't durable as OEM, but honda sells them only with arm.

I think Moog and Spicer both offer replacement ball-joints, and both companies have pretty good support from the 4WD crowd.

the 4th gen and 5th gen ball joints are not the same. I have a 4g with a 5 lug swap, and I had to replace my ball joints...which are not being sold separately, so I just got new 4g A arms with ball joints and and that fixed call my clunking from all broken ball joints. I check with honda as far as the ball joints being the same and they are not.
