Well today i go out to my driveway to get in my car and there is a big puddle of oil under my car. I open my hood and looked at it and there was like little dabs of oil on my wires by my distributor and on my distributor, but the worse thing of all, theres A LOT of oil under where the distributor is located. So i asked a mechanic and he said that its an 0-ring inside your distributor ( like a lil circle rubber gasket), i just need input because its preettty bad.
well i race my car just against other hondas on the street and one race was so close i rev limited my car and then after that it started leaking so. ima just go to the dealership and see.
and thanks for the pic thats what i was wanting to see too.
You'd better check your heater hose going into the side of the cylinder head under the distributor while you're at it since when oil leaks on it the hose will swell and bust causing a instant loss of most of your coolant.
ik this is a long dead thread but does anyone know where i can find a distributor shaft seal, thats the inner seal, cant seem to find it anywhere
