Bad Gas Mileage??
Hola!!
I just drove back from Colorado, where the elevation is from 6-9,000 feet, on average. Now, I know that higher altitude gives you lower horsepower, but it DOES give you pretty good gas mileage. In CO, I was getting 350 miles per tank. I put ignition in and got 375 miles per tank, average. Down at sea level, where I currently live, the car is hauling ass, big time, but the gas mileage SUCKS!!! Is it normal to lose so much endurance per tank? Could something else be drastically wrong after a 1200 mile drive? I just changed my oil, but still, crappy gas mileage. I'll be averaging about 325-350 miles per tank, if I'm lucky & coast everywhere. HELP!!
