Back to stock? Should I?

I was having trouble sleeping last night, and kept thinking about maintenance needed on my Prelude.

I'm overdue for the 120k.
I've got a blown Koni.
My front rotors are warped, and the pads are ~2 yrs old now, so both due for replacement.
I'm pretty sure I saw the spring hat on one of the corners fall out completely.
Suspension is squeaking like a b!tch

So I was thinking: Go back to stock height and springs, fix up the squeaking. Might as well check the CV boots. Fix up the brakes, going back to stock. Buy a new Koni, hopefully the old one will be credited back (lifetime warranty and all).

But if I'm going to do all that, take off my catback and go back to stock there as well? I think an aftermarket exhaust looks like crap on a stock height car? And that'll lead to me getting rid of the DC ceramic header too.

What do you all think?

Upgrade the rotors to Brembo blanks, put new pads in, rebuild your shocks, and check over the rest of your suspension. .

I just got some slotted brembo fronts with AEM pads + cadmium coating for $$185.00 shipped. I say fix it up. You love the car as it is!

I think we all go through this period w/ our cars. Bad things like to happen in bunches, you know? One thing, your tires are bald... next, you have an exhaust leak. Then your brakes warp, and you bent a control arm from bottoming out on the freeway. I've had some troubles, but never thought about reverting to stock form. Ludes just don't look right stock, IMO.

Yeah ok. I really don't want to yet anyway. Maybe if I got a new car?

So, who knows what exactly goes into the 120K major service? A little lube, a change of fluids, anything really major?

Whatever you do, don't do what my friend Tom did w/ his 96 VTEC. He had the 90k service done at about 125k or so. He had TROUBLE...he also had Pep Boys do it, which, after his troubles there, I wouldn't recommend you doing. I'd just call up Honda and ask them what they do. It might be one of those services you can just do yourself.
